OUR MISSION
The Pak Lab seeks to uncover the molecular mechanisms that govern synaptic plasticity and maintain healthy brain function. By integrating molecular, cellular, and systems-level approaches, we investigate how synapses adapt during learning and memory and how disruptions in these processes contribute to cognitive decline, neurodegeneration, and neurological disease.Â
Our long-term goal is to translate fundamental discoveries in synapse biology into strategies that preserve brain function throughout life.
